With a 12 minute improvement over last year's 2nd place finish, Donna Phelan captured 4th place yesterday at Ironman China in 10:25:15.

25th Annual St.John's Tri

This year the St.John's Triathlon will have it's 25th running on Sunday August 9. The event includes the traditional standard distance 1k swim, 46k bike and 10k run for individuals and teams, as well as a sprint distance for individuals only.

New this year is chip timing, and you can register online HERE.

Back To Back Victories For Sweetland

Kirsten Sweetland captured first place at the New Plymouth Oceania Cup ITU event over the weekend following last week's win at the Mooloolaba World Cup event in Australia.

With roots in Corner Brook, 20 year old Kirsten has been racing and winning in the pro field for the past 3 years.

Lys Does Ironman 70.3 California

Congratulations to Alexandra Lys on a 5:39:16 finish at the Ironman 70.3 California Saturday.

In a field of 2699 athletes she was 41st overall out of the water (1st non-pro female), and settled in for a steady ride and run to finish 3rd in her age group.
