Phelan 5th In Brazil

Donna Phelan snagged 5th place overall female at Ironman Brazil yesterday in 9:44:45. That's a 50:57 swim (3.8k), 5:10:04 bike (180k) and 3:37:46 marathon run (42.2k). Read her pre-race interview HERE.

Ralph Nabs Sport NL Scholarship

Victoria Ralph was on the receiving end of a $500 Sport NL scholarship last week in support of her continuing education and dedication to sport.

Victoria was on the Canada Games Triathlon team last year, was a runner up for Athlete of the Year for her accomplishments in wrestling, and is very active with cycling.

Dyke, Benson & Bennett Conquer Florida

Melanie & Proud Dad Paul @ St.John's Tri

Stephen Dyke raced PRO and beat many of them at Sunday's Ironman 70.3 Florida with a phenomenal time of 4 hours 19 minutes and 5 seconds.

Also representing NL Triathletes at the event were Melanie Benson with a smoking 5:13:54, and Ian Bennett coming off a bad crash injury late last year yet still nailing the elusive sub-6 hour threshold with a solid 5:56:27.

Tragedy In Quebec
