2019 Open Water Swim Series Results Week Three

We are now halfway through the 2019 Open Water Swim Series! The great weather conditions helped produce some fast times at the third swim of the series, the water temperature was 22 degrees with sunny skies and light winds.

The elite race was won by Jon Hare, he completed the 1500m swim far ahead of the competition in 18:03. Next, Keith Barrett edged out Will Duggan for 2nd place by one second! They finished the race in times of 20:28 and 20:29.

Jacob Upshall captured the top spot in the 750m junior race finishing in 13:04. He was followed by Megan Lafferty in 2nd (13:13) and Chris Boyce in 3rd (15:09). The 750m senior race was won by David Robbins with a time of 15:05 followed by Caroline Muselet  in 2nd (15:20) and Arthur Rideout in 3rd (15:53).

The last swim of the evening was the 1500m race. Gwen Stacey won the junior race in a time of 24:08. She was followed by Craig Ennis in 2nd (24:46) and Jennifer Guy in 3rd (24:49). The senior race was won by Jason MacDonald in 26:49 followed by Kim Larouche in 2nd (27:34) and Andrew Rossiter in 3rd (28:34).
