Triathlon NL member Roughan Gaetz has placed first in his age group and fourth overall in Triathlon Canada’s inaugural World Series on the Fulgaz platform. The five-stage event took place between April 28 and May 10, with Roughan placing in the top 10 in four stages and 11th in the remaining stage. The stages included Alpe d’Huez in France and the Axel Merckx Climb in Canada.
The Triathlon Canada National Tour series is currently underway on Fulgaz.
Roughan is also a member of Triathlon NL’s Canada Games Training Squad for the 2021 Summer Games in Niagara.
