Capital Subaru St. John’s Tri – Monday Night Bike Rides
May 20 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
An event every week that begins at 6:30 pm on Monday, repeating until August 26, 2019
Monday Night Beginner rides start Monday, May 20th and will run until the end of August. These group rides are intended for beginners but all riders are welcome. There will be lead riders to guide the group as well as riders to stay with slower individuals so no one gets lost or left behind and to assist with any mechanical issues.
Please ride safely and adhere to the rules of the road at all times. Prior to the first ride on Monday, May 20th there will be a pre-ride safety briefing so if you are not familiar with rules of the road or group riding etiquette please attend for your own and everyone else’s safety. Current TriNL memberships and helmets are mandatory to participate!
The rides depart at 6:30 pm from the Sunshine Camp Rotary Park parking lot so please arrive with adequate time to prepare yourself, your equipment and to do the mandatory sign in.
TriNL is accepting applications for event sanctioning for the 2019 season.
Event organizers are invited to download our Race Director Handbook to learn about how to hold a multi-sport event, and the requirements associated with sanctioning.
Sanctioning applications are filled out and submitted online. You will also need to submit additional documentation including an Event Emergency Plan; permit applications from applicable municipal, provincial, and federal authorities; and maps of courses and related facilities.
This process offers an excellent checklist to ensure your event is safe and secure for all participants, volunteers, and other stakeholders and that the event is conducted fairly for all competitors.
Your sanctioned event will also benefit from the knowledge and experience of TriNL board members and associates, as well as promotional opportunities through our website, news feed, and member email list. TriNL will assign a Technical Delegate (a certified triathlon official) to review the sanctioning document and work with your event team to make the event successful for everyone.
