Body Quest Paradise Sprint Triathlon & Try-a-Tri

August 25 @ 8:00 am

Building on the success of the 2018 race season the 2019 Body Quest Paradise Triathlon will be a Sprint distance event and like last year you can register as an INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM. There will also be an Individual Try-a-Tri event.

We will continue to offer great prizes such as free 1hr massages from Body Quest and tubes of Biofreeze for the age groupers and the Athena/Clydesdale divisions.

The swim is a relatively flat, triangular course that shallows just outside the swim buoys to allow participants to stand and get their bearings if needed. The bike course is closed to all traffic and the three 6.8km loops create a spectator friendly, adrenaline-boosting ride. The 5km run takes place around the beautiful Octagon Pond.

Registration will open June 1st and will be limited to 100 Participants.

The Try-a-Tri event takes place using 300m of the swim course, one bike loop, and and out-and-back run of 3 km.

Date: Sunday, August 25, 2019 @ 8 am.

TriNL is accepting applications for event sanctioning for the 2019 season.

Event organizers are invited to download our Race Director Handbook to learn about how to hold a multi-sport event, and the requirements associated with sanctioning.

Sanctioning applications are filled out and submitted online. You will also need to submit additional documentation including an Event Emergency Plan; permit applications from applicable municipal, provincial, and federal authorities; and maps of courses and related facilities.

This process offers an excellent checklist to ensure your event is safe and secure for all participants, volunteers, and other stakeholders and that the event is conducted fairly for all competitors.

Your sanctioned event will also benefit from the knowledge and experience of TriNL board members and associates, as well as promotional opportunities through our website, news feed, and member email list. TriNL will assign a Technical Delegate (a certified triathlon official) to review the sanctioning document and work with your event team to make the event successful for everyone.

Triathlon Newfoundland and Labrador. We can. We will.
