Registration for the 2019 St. John’s Triathlon Closes tomorrow Friday, August 9th. The event takes place at Sunshine Rotary Park on Sunday, August 11th. This year is the 35th anniversary of the race and a qualifier for the ITU World Triathlon Championships in Edmonton, Alberta. Only full annual members of TriNL are eligible to earn a qualifying spot.
Race kit pick-up will take place at Capital Subaru on Kenmount Road from 4 to 7pm tomorrow Friday, August 9th.
This race includes both sprint and standard distance events with a team relay option for the standard distance (2 or 3 members).
The standard race includes a 1.5 km (2 x 750 m loop) swim in Healey’s Pond, a 46 km (2 x 23 km loop) bike around Windsor Lake and finishing off with a 10 km (2 x 5 km loop) run through the beautiful park trails and along Bennett’s Road (the sprint race includes one loop of each discipline).
