Safe Sport & Incident Reporting
Triathlon NL is affiliated with Sport NL and falls under its Safe Sport policies and complaint filing system. You can confidentially report any incidents or concerns regarding safety and conduct within our sports community here. The Independent Third Party (ITP) for Sport NL is committed to handling your reports of Maltreatment with the utmost respect and impartiality. Visit Sport NL’s Safety in Sport web site for more information on how to use this service and resources available to you. We encourage you to come forward with any issues, as your safety and well-being are our highest priority.
Reporting
To make a report to the ITP regarding Maltreatment, please use the following link https://app.integritycounts.ca/org/itpsport.
Triathlon NL is responsible for addressing any Code of Conduct Violations or appeals. To make a report of a Code of Conduct violation please contact the Executive Director at admin@nulltrinl.com. All Triathlon NL policies are listed under the Governance section of this page.
Support Services
We appreciate that there are many challenges that accompany bringing concerns of this nature forward. If you, or others who are affected, are in need of support, we encourage you to access mental health support in your community or reach out to your family doctor. Coaching, Training, & Competition
Triathlon NL is committed to providing safe environments for competition and training for its athletes, coaches, officials, and other participants. Young and vulnerable sector athletes especially should be kept safe from abuse, harassment, and bullying. Triathlon NL has taken the Responsible Coaching Movement pledge.
