The nomination period for the four new Board Directors has been extended. Triathlon Canada received four applications by the July 31 deadline date, but three of these are from Ontario and, given a restriction of two per province, only two from Ontario would be electable. Given two from Ontario and one from another province, this would leave one vacancy. Accordingly, the Nominations Committee recommended to the Board that the deadline for nominations be extended, to allow for the potential recruitment of a full slate. The deadline has been extended until August 18th. If required, it may be extended further until Aug 29th at latest.
