Carl Barrett was 1st overall at Saturdays Cancer Fighter Triathlon in Corner Brook, finishing the course in 55:14.6. Nicklas Dolomount was 2nd in 59:04.3 followed by the top ladies finisher Heidi Perry in 3rd overall with a time of 1:03:56.5. Birender Wadhwa was 3rd of the men in 1:05:21.1. Lisa Ledrew was 2nd of the ladies in 1:11:28.4 followed by Sarah Feltham in 1:13:44.5
In the Short Distance Duathlon event Johnathan Grandy won in 52:26.3 followed by Peter Ollerhead in 55:47.6 then Chad Parsons in 1:03:28.9.
The team short distance duathlon was won by Proactive in 53:24.3 (Robyn Dillman-run and Justin Whittle-bike).
