There are only two swims left for the 2019 Open Water Swim Series! With the best four out of six swims being included in the final standings swimmers will be looking to improve upon their previous performances over the next two weeks.
Despite some cooler weather we had a another good turnout on Wednesday evening. The water temperature was warmer than the air temperature!
In the Elite 1500 race Jon Hare continued his winning streak in a time of 17:59. He was followed by Keith Barrett in 2nd (19:56) and Will Duggan in 3rd (19:59).
Megan Lafferty won the 750 JR race in a time of 12:39. She was followed by Chris Boyce in 2nd (14:01) and Melanie Culleton in 3rd (14:22). In the SR division Blair Pritchett took the top spot in 13:39. He was followed by David Robbins in 2nd (14:45) and Caroline Muselet in 3rd (15:10).
In the 1500 JR race Gwen Stacey and Jennifer Guy tied! Both completed the race in 23:18. Craig Ennis was the third to finish in 24:36. Kim Davis won the SR division in 25:58. She was followed by Tim Healey in 2nd (26:29) and Kim Larouche in 3rd (27:39).
